Transform your unused roof space in Bath with South West Loft Boarding. Whether you own a Georgian townhouse, Victorian terrace, or modern new-build in Bath & North East Somerset, our raised LOFT-E® system creates safe, guaranteed loft storage.
At South West Loft Boarding, we help homeowners across Bath (BA1, BA2, BA3) and the wider North East Somerset area turn dark, unusable roof spaces into clean, bright, and safe storage rooms. Squashing down your thermal insulation to lay boards directly onto joists ruins energy efficiency and risks condensation. Our BBA-approved LOFT-E® and timber raised sub-frames elevate your storage floor safely above the insulation layer, completed in just one day and backed by our Lifetime Guarantee.
Our LOFT-E® steel framework raises the floor above deep insulation without compressing it, protecting new-build warranties in Bath.
Whether you have a modern trussed roof or an older property in Bath with uneven joists, our adjustable subframes create a rock-solid level deck.
We supply and fit loft ladders, insulated hatches, insulation, and LED lighting across BA1, BA2, BA3.
Our local installation teams cover all neighbourhoods, villages, and surrounding towns across Bath (BA1, BA2, BA3) and North East Somerset:
Whether you simply need a new loft ladder and hatch or a full wall-to-wall raised storage floor in Bath, we tailor every package to your home:
We were worried about voiding our warranty in our new build in Bradley Stoke, but the team explained the raised boarding system perfectly. They’ve given us so much extra storage without squashing the insulation. Professional, tidy, and finished in a day.
Spot on service
David H., BristolI can’t believe we waited ten years to do this. We can finally get the Christmas tree and suitcases down without a balancing act on a rickety old ladder. The new timber ladder is sturdy and the LED lighting makes a massive difference. Highly recommend!
Transformed our home.
Sarah L., BathI was dreading the dust, but the team were incredibly respectful of our home. They used dust sheets throughout the landing and left the place spotless. It’s rare to find tradesmen in Exeter who take that much pride in their cleanup.
Clean and tidy.
Mark T., ExeterGot a few quotes for loft boarding in Cheltenham and these guys were by far the most professional. No hidden costs and the quality of the boarding is top-notch—it feels like a proper floor. If you need more space, don't look anywhere else.
Excellent value.
James P., CheltenhamAt my age, I was terrified of going up into the loft, but the new hatch and handrail have made it so simple. It’s given me my spare room back now that all the boxes are tucked away safely upstairs. A brilliant job from start to finish.
Safe and easy access.
Mrs. Bennett, TauntonFrom the initial survey to the final board being laid, the communication was great. They turned up exactly when they said they would and worked right through. Our loft in Cardiff is now a fantastic storage space. Top marks.
Great local team.
